Karen was the awesome starbucks barista! Very helpful and kind to let the kids sample the mini frappucchino. I got the interesting lemon bar frappucchino and red velvet crème cake frappucchino!

This Starbucks is conveniently located within the Meijer. The convenience ends there. If you show up around 8am expect a long wait. Nothing is ready, everything is a total mess. You can observe a sleeping chick on what is nearly the only table sprawled out, seemingly out damn cold. Ok thats not an employee, well not of Starbucks at least. So this must double as the Meijer employee lounge huh? I digress. All I wanted was a basic coffee. Seriously. There is one totally overwhelmed barista. She is friendly but do not look past that cash register, it looks like an explosion of various coffee and cream type products. The wait is crazy long. Even getting a simple coffee with cream took over 15 minutes. My husband shopped for his lunch, stood in line and was out in the parking lot grabbing a smoke (or two) long before I got my lone premade type coffee. The premade coffee I wanted was out, both the premades (medium and dark) had to be brewed so either way I went I was SOL. Even telling her to leave me room for cream (I call all dairy cream, even my nonfat crap BTW) ended up with me having room only for a splash (on a venti for gosh sakes). I ended up dropping the hubs at work and coming back to get more added as I need my milk. It did not help any. All the cream and sugar in the world would not have saved this weak ass coffee, did she add enough to the bin? Gross. No thanks, the crap at my husband's work tastes a world better and is free. Close to four bucks for their offerings is ridiculous. I know its a little one at a Meijer but c'mon.

This morning was the last time I try to get a coffee at this location. For the third time, I found out after waiting in a very long line that they were out of soy. I have 2 suggestions: do a better job of keeping a stock (this is a freaking grocery store for heaven's sake) or I don't know, put up a sign that says "We are currently out of soy." Don't make people wait in line for 20 minutes to find that out.

I've only attempted to get coffee here once, but as has been noted the wait times are absurd. You could probably buy the coffee at Meier, take it home and brew it yourself faster than the staff here could make it!
